Gino is our resident 2 year old yellow Labrador, he comes to Piggywigs most days with our manager Rae and it is his job to play with and comfort our children and to make them feel at home in our setting. Having a dog in nursery has proved to be beneficial to both the staff and the children. The children learn about caring for others and respect for animals and Gino knows that it is his job to help those children that may be initially reticent to come to nursery to come in and play with ease. He also gives great cuddles and loves to listen to a story!
